I’ve been going here for years. I was going to big corporate dental offices before and was treated horribly. First time walking in I was greeted by the friendly staff and the amazing Dr. Halverson. The ER can manage pain and infections but cannot perform dental procedures. For a dental emergency, call us at 972-238-9626 for definitive treatment the same day. Only go to the ER if swelling is affecting your breathing or you have a suspected broken jaw.
How much does a dental emergency visit cost without insurance?
Cost depends on the treatment required. The emergency exam and X-rays start around $150. We discuss all costs before beginning treatment so there are no surprises, and we offer payment options for uninsured patients.
What should I do while waiting for my dental emergency appointment?
For tooth pain, take ibuprofen (not aspirin) and apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek. If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist in milk or saliva and bring it with you. For a lost crown, apply dental cement or sugar-free gum as a temporary cover. Call 972-238-9626 and we will advise you on the way in.
